I figured now was as good as any other time, and since my lj-paidness is running out on this account in 3 days, i'm making the switch to my new livejournal for the new year.

my only sadness is that i am creditcard-less and cannot make my new account paid.

there have been times in the past when i have given people paid accounts just for the hell of it, so here's to hoping that someone feels sorry for me and my new account ([info]221084) becomes paid kinda soon...

so yes, with that said, this is the end of [info]tinylittlestars. i'm going to be copying and backdating some of my more deep && favourite entries from the last 3 months over to the new journal when i have time, but mainly it's going to be the "all new cyndi" journal... because what can i say - i've changed a lot in the last 6 months.

here's to my past, and all that 2007 is going to bring...

Xx

ps. btw, if you still want to be on my friends list, add my new journal

I never want to see another water cracker again *munches*

My stomach is still in the "don't want to digest anything" stage so my current diet consists of water crackers, apple juice, water and sultanas. I'm about to eat a banana, one that cost me $2.50.

That is all.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In February I gave [info]nkwestley a Dutch Oven (-10 points). In May I donated bone marrow to [info]raechel_lee in a life-saving procedure (300 points). Last Sunday I gave [info]rextexta a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). In November I put gum in [info]gracelikerain's hair (-12 points). In January I helped [info]easywaydown hide a body (-173 points).

Overall, I've been nice (100 points). For Christmas I deserve a new dolly!

So, so tired, with a busy weekend ahead.

Brooklynnie and I hit Hurstville after work today and ended up buying all the stuff for the "after dinner party" at my house on Saturday night. Nothing says love like a spork.

Raechel arrives tomorrow. I'm having a half day at work, and we're climbing the bridge about 5.30pm.

Nearly done cleaning my room so that Raech doesn't have to live in my mess for 3 days. Was totally going to have a shower tonight and wash and blowdry my hair, but I think I'll have to do that in the morning... which means I have to get up at 6, ewww. Which means I should sleep soon.

So yeah. Big weekend. Climbing the bridge tomorrow afternoon. Dinner at the Chilli Man Saturday night, followed by dessert etc. afterwards at my place. Then church Sunday.

I'm so tired that I'm delusional so I should sleep.

alright naggahs ... i'm bored, you might be too, here goes

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post a line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: Webcheating is frowned upon and will result in Chuck Norris roundhouse kicking you.

1. "And I could see clearly, An indelible line was drawn"
2. "I guess you got me where you wanted after all"
3. "Its times like these that I miss you most, Remembering when we were so close"
4. "I used to call you the love, the love that I never had"
5. "No one else will have me like you do, No one else will have me, only you"
6. "But you need to know I have no control, Of the things you make me do"
7. "And that's the ugly truth"
8. "A thousand clever lines unread on clever napkins"
9. "The love of her life is drifting away, they're losing the fight for another day"
10. "It don’t do me any good, It’s just a waste of time"
11. "Sometimes your life can crumble, sometimes your soul might make a stumble"
12. "For so long I was lost, So good to be found "
13. "Here and now , Give all that's within you, Be my savior"
14. "Something's getting in the way, Something's just about to break"
15. "When my mom and dad were in their teens, And anarchy was still a dream"
16. "She's a 5 foot 10 in catsuit and bambi eyes"
17. "I'll hold on to the wings of the eagles, Watch as we all fly away"
18. "And I don't understand what it is they see"
19. "Tomorrow there'll be so much to do, So tonight I'll drift in a dream with you"
20. "Cos I could fall asleep in those eyes, Like a water bed"
21. "So I'm telling you, exactly what is on my mind, See the way we ride, in our private lives"
22. "Everything she does is beautiful, Everything she does is right"
23. "Your lips go dry, but they're sweet inside, Wine must go right to your head"
24. "Everyone who's close to me suspect nothing at all, cos this is senseless"
25. "A-wimoweh, a-wimoweh, A-wimoweh, a-wimoweh"

PS. It was cold at Mt Victoria over the weekend. Really cold.

No wonder. I just looked at the record of the temperatures over the weekend!

In KATOOMBA Friday night/Saturday morning it got down to 6.3 and Saturday's HIGH was 8.1.
Saturday night/Sunday morning it got down to 3.1 and Sunday's high was 10.1. And Mt Vic is higher than Katoomba!

No wonder people were asking if I was cold and telling me to put a jumper on!!!!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!

...for another hour and 22 minutes anyways ;)

A big happy birthday to [info]gracelikerain, who is 23, and the always good looking Zachary Hanson, who has finally hit 21, for October 22nd as well.

My birthday was fun! I was in the mountains for camp this weekend, and it was great to be around my church family since I couldn't be with my real family!

Yesterday, as my last day as a 21 year old, I abseiled off a 25m cliff in the Blue Mountains, not once, but twice! It was totally freaky, I totally thought I was going to die, and I totally have bruises on my hips now from my harness, but all in all it was a lot of fun :) Obviously for the 3 hours we were hanging out at the top of the cliff I wasn't abseiling the whole time, but it was great to watch everyone else, and just hang out in nature and chat with friends and stuff!

Saturday night after the official stuff was over, we cheered the boys on playing 'welts' (a game that basically involves injuring each other with ping pong balls) and then played a game of 'cranium' with mark + the girls (which seemed to be the recurring theme of the weekend!)

I was surprised by a very creative piece of art from the girls in my cabin, wishing me a happy birthday in the shape of australia (use your imagination) using chips and m+ms.

We finally went to sleep about 1.30am after some crazy dancing and chit chatting.

Today was pretty low-key... I ate SO MUCH FOOD - seriously, a three course breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, entree, dinner and 2 deserts. Yum. I swore to Raechel on the phone earlier that I will never eat again, but we all know that's a lie.

After church this morning the girls + Mark played basketball, and then Ben and David joined us and we played soccer.

And then after lunch we packed up and left. I slept in the car home, and then Emily and I went back to her place and just relaxed for the afternoon. We ate BBQ Ribs, "Burnt BBQ", Cake and Apple Pie and Ice Cream. Then we watched Idol.

My birthday has been fun, if not low-key. Bring on the partying next weekend.

Thanks to everyone who left me myspace comments and texted me today - I got text messages from about 15 different people. I got calls from Mum, Dad, Darlene, Jazmin & Raechel, and was even mentioned in [info]gracelikerain's and [info]thiscantbereal's livejournals. Emily gave me a GORGEOUS silver packlock bracelet. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

More photos tomorrow when my internet stops being a spaz and I can upload them!

Xx

I guess a "real" update is in order, but I'm just so all-over-the-place at the moment...

Ya know I have filled in like 3 different quiz/survey/whatevers in the last few days, and I get like 3/4's of the way through and then just go "blah, why am I even doing this?" and close them.

Yesterday was "birthday day" at work, because Chris (the accounts lady) celebrates her birthday the day before mine, and she only works Tues-Thurs)... Chris bought in these cool square cupcakes for us (see below) and then at lunch time Cate & Michael surprised us with presents AND then Michael answered the phone for an hour while Cate took Chris and I out for lunch at this nice cafe down the street!

We got Body Shop stuff for presents, which was really nice. I got these shimmer eyeshadow cubes that I actually bought for myself 2 weeks ago, so I took them back and exchanged them for 2 of the new eyeshadows in blue and pink which are really cute!! And I also got this great lipgloss and some shower gel and a loofah!

Today is going insanely slow, primarily because our database server is DEAD which means we can't do any work!!! Yeah, it's kinda funny and kinda annoying at the same time. The good thing is that the internet isn't dead, so I can still livejournal/myspace/email etc. but even that gets boring after a while.

Heading up to Church Family Camp at CYC Mt Vic tonight which should make for a great weekend. I'm probably going to be sleeping in with Mandy/Laura/Emma/Jaala/Emily etc. so should pick up some earplugs at the chemist on the way home because Mandy snores like a dumptruck.

My birthday is on Sunday, so I'll be at camp for half the day and then after camp going to Emily's for dinner which should be cool :) Then next week is back to work like usual, with a half-day on Friday, then Raechel arrives Friday and we are climbing the bridge etc. FUN TIMES!

Apparently Peter is heading in to work in the next half hour with the FIXED server which is good, cos it means I can do all the work that has been piling up in my inbox, but bad because I was hoping it wouldn't be fixed today and that I'd get to go home early!! I've just finished scoffing down a sausage roll and am trying to get 43% of my daily dose of calcium by drinking a baby carton of pink milk but it keeps making me feel like I want to hurl!

Must go on a hunt for chocolate of some sort! I have 3.30itis (even tho it's only 2.16!)

Peace out naggahs
Xx

What is your favourite beverage?
I can't choose just one! Freshly squeezed OJ, Strawberry Milkshake or Strawberry Squeeze Smoothie from Boost Juice!

Soup
Name 3 things that are on your computer desk at home or work.
A half-eaten bag of pretzels, my mobile phone & about a zillion written-on post-it-notes!

Salad
On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the highest), how honest do you think you are?
Probably about an 8! I'm usually pretty blunt and brutal, but there are a few things I keep to myself.

Main Course
If you could change the name of one city in the world, what would you rename it and why?
Ya know I don't think I could change anything. It just wouldn't be the same!

Dessert
What stresses you out? What calms you down?
Not being organised or in control stresses me out. Music, writing and chatting with friends calms me down. Oh, and Chocolate :)

are you hungry?

What a massive weekend!

Friday night I went to Nicks and got my haircut... I posted a pic on Fri nite, but there'll be more at the end of this post!

Saturday morning Emily came over, and we hit up Darling Harbour and the city before meeting Brooke and Bec at Circular Quay to catch a ferry to Luna Park.

[The other Beck left on Saturday, thank goodness, because she was truly a pain in the butt. Seriously, I have never met somebody so rude and inconsiderate in my life... she stayed with us for 2 weeks, after she said she was coming to stay for one (and actually had a return ticket booked for 3 1/2 weeks after she arrived) and yeah, never again. Basically, she made a mess and didn't clean up after herself, and was constantly rude. I mean, who in their right mind wouldn't even say thank you after they've stayed with people for 2 weeks. AHHHH. Seriously, I am so thankful she is GONE.]

So anyways, Emily, Bec, Brooke & I took a trip to Luna Park, which was fun. We rode the carousel (you know the type with the horses that bob up and down) except this one had the normal horsies PLUS chickens (lmfao) so Brooke and I rode chickens! They we put balls in clowns mouths, and Brooke and Bec won soft toys, but they were jealous of mine and Emily's booby-prize tiaras!

We went to Coney Island and went on the big slide (but only once because it was SCARY) and Emily and I went on this spinny thing that made me feel sick after the second time! Then we ate fairy floss and drank lots of water, because Emily and I went on an extra long ride on the Cha-cha!

And then we headed home, Emily's mum picked her up, and then we basically showered, dressed and went out again! Nick had a party one at his house/salon so we went there for an hour, then had thai for dinner...

After dinner we tried to catch a train home, but we missed one by like 1 minute so instead we caught the train to the city... and by the time we got there we had missed the next train, so then we walked through the underpass (actually Brooke and Bec walked, I danced!!) and went to 7/11 (God Bless whoever invented 7/11's!) and bought chocolate, before heading back to Central Station.

Then, when our train finally came, we climbed on, hogged a lot of seats (since nobody else was in the back carriage at midnight) and fell asleep. I woke up at Mortdale with drool down my face and all over the seat LoL!!

So a fun night had by all, too bad I couldn't sleep until lunch time today!

Emily and I went shopping at Roselands after church and I got this dress that I saw in Just Jeans in the city yesterday, but they didn't have my size. It was $80, so wasn't I surprised to find that Just Jeans at Roselands had a "2 for $100" sale on, so I ended up getting the dress, and then a pair of wide-leg 3/4 jeans that were $70 for only an extra $20 - bargain!!!

Back into the usual work/gym/youth group cycle tomorrow, since school is back. Only a week until my birthday and 11 days until Raechel is here and we climb the harbour bridge!

I should go and continue cleaning my room... getting there slowly but it's a pain since I still have about 14 boxes that I haven't unpacked!

Here are 3 more pics of my new hair, and pics from yesterday are coming next!

I went and saw Nick tonight and he turned my old disaster haircut into something beautiful and swishy!!!

Not a great picture of my hair really, but I look cute :)

Anyways, my hair is like a dark chocolatey brown with copper streaks... which are pretty bright red-like at the moment but will fade :)

Approximately how many hours per week do you spend reading other blogs?
I'd have to say at least an hour a day... so probably 7-9 hours a week (including commenting etc.)

Soup
Your community wants everyone to give one thing to put into a time capsule. What item would you choose to include?
Probably being the selfish person that I am, a photo of me with my youth group. In the future I'd like people to remember that not all kids were bad and emo (LoL, not that bad and emo go together)

Salad
What is the most interesting tourist attraction you've ever visited?
I can't say I've honestly visited anything to "interesting" although I love Rotorua in New Zealand and all the mud pools and geysers and stuff!

Main Course
If you could give an award to anyone for anything, who would it be and what would the award be titled?
I'd give Raechel the "Girl who falls in lust the most" award, because it's so so true!

Dessert
What do you think your favorite color reveals about your personality?
Pink definately shows my girliness, and bright blue my outgoingness :) Is outgoingness even a word??

are you hungry?
